Nadine Ghazi reduced the deficit for the Cleopatras through the penalty spot. Nigeria went into the halftime break leading by 2-1. Uchenna Kanu added the third goal for the Super Falcons. Christy Ucheibe added the fourth goal for the Super Falcons through to the penalty spot. Nadine Ghazi completed her brace and also added the second goal for the Cleopatras. Rasheedat Ajibade added the fifth goal for the Super Falcons through to the penalty spot. Joy Omewa sealed the win for the Super Falcons. With this match result, Egypt have been eliminated at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations and Nigeria are through to the quarter-finals of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
