Both sides failed to find the back of the net. With this match result, Senegal are through into the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations last 16 and the Lions of Teranga were also confirmed as the Group B winners. The fate of Malawi will be decided on 19 January 2022.

Knowledge Musona opened the scoring for the Warriors. Kudakwashe Mahachi increased the lead for the Warriors. Zimbabwe went into the halftime break leading by 2-0. Naby Keita pulled one back for the National Elephants on the second half. With this match result, Zimbabwe have been eliminated. Guinea were confirmed as the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Group B runners despite their loss against the Warriors and they also secured their last 16 spot.
Gabon 2-2 Morocco, Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium
Jim Allevinah opened the scoring for the Panthers. Gabon went into the halftime break leading by 1-0. Sofiane Boufal equalized for the Atlas Lions through the penalty spot. Nayef Aguerd’s own goal restored the lead for the Panthers. Achraf Hakimi levelled matters for the Atlas Lions. With this match result, Gabon were confirmed as the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Group C runners up and the Panthers also secured their last 16 spot.
Ghana 2-3 Comoros, Roumde Adjia Stadium
El Fardou Ben Mohamed opened the scoring for the Coelacanths. Comoros went into the halftime break leading by 1-0. Ahmed Mogni increased the lead for the Coelacanths. Richmond Boakye reduced the deficit for the Black Stars. Alexander Djiku levelled matters for the Black Stars. Ahmed Mogni completed his brace and also sealed the victory for the Coelacanths. With this match result, Ghana have been eliminated in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and the fate of Comoros will be decided on 20 January 2022.
