Bienvenu Eva Nga opened the scoring for the Chilli Boyz. Sinethemba Mngomezulu levelled matters for the Rockets. Both sides went into halftime break levelled at 1-1 scoreline. Menzi Ndwandwe converted the penalty spot kick and the hosts took the lead for the first time in this match. Wayde Lekay sealed the win for the Rockets. With this match result, TS Galaxy ended their two matches winless run.
Cape Town City 3-2 Maritzburg United, Cape Town Stadium
Mduduzi Mdantsane opened the scoring for the Citizens. The home side went into the halftime break leading 1-0. Fagrie Lakay increased the for the hosts. Leletu Skelem reduced the deficit for the visitors and it was his first goal for the club. Tashreeq Morris restored the two goals lead for the Citizens. Bongokuhle Hlongwane pulled one back for the Team of Choice. With this match result, Cape Town City FC ended their three matches winless run.
