Both sides went into the halftime break levelled at 0-0. Victor Letsoalo opened the scoring for the visitors. Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya equalized for Usuthu. Junior Zindoga restored the lead for the Rockets and it was his first goal for the club. Mlondi Mbanjwa levelled matters for the hosts. Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya completed his first brace to the club and also netted a winner for Usuthu. With this match result, AmaZulu FC ended the four-match unbeaten run of TS Galaxy.
Durban City 1-0 Polokwane City, Chatsworth Stadium
Trevor Mokwena netted a winner for the Citizens in the first half. With this match result, Sinethemba Badela registered his first victory as the head coach of Durban City FC and the Citizens also ended the four-match unbeaten run of Polokwane City FC.
