Jean Diouf opened the scoring for the Lions of Teranga through the penalty spot. Lau King levelled matters for the Os Mambas and also took the match to penalties. Both goals were scored on the second half. Senegal won 4-2 on penalties. With this match result, Senegal are the 2022 Hollywoodbets COSAFA Cup bronze medals winners.
