Banyana Banyana rising star footballer Sibulele Holweni is a force to be reckoned with as she is playing in the Hollywoodbets Super League side University of the Western Cape.
She is also studying there after finishing her matric at the High-Performance Centre.
She is a midfielder of note, born in 28 April 2001in Kwazakhele.
In one of the best highlights of her career is when she scored whooping 5 goals against Comoros in the last edition of the Cosafa Cup. She was the captain for the U17 and U20 national teams.
She has featured in two World Cups – the 2018 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Uruguay and the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France. She made debut in the senior team in 2019 against USA.
She excelled in the 2020 Cosafa Women’s Championship. In the same tournament she walked away with the Golden Boot as she led the scoring charts through the tournament.
She has 7 goals currently in the Hollywoodbets Super League. Msawawa is currently with Banyana Banyana in the COSAFA Cup Women’s Championship that is being staged in Gqeberha.
