Korka Fall netted a winner for the Lionesses of Teranga through the penalty spot on the second half. With this match result, Senegal are the first team to book the quarter-final spot of the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Both sides went into halftime break levelled at 1-1 scoreline. Nesryne El Chad restored the lead for the Atlas Lionesses. Ghizlane Chebbak sealed the win for the Atlas Lionesses through the penalty spot. With this match result, Morocco are the second team to book the quarter-final spot of the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
