Abdou Diallo opened the scoring for the Lions of Teranga. Bamba Dieng doubled the lead for the Lions of Teranga. Ibrahim Blati Toure reduced the deficit for the Stallions. Sadio Mane sealed the win for the Lions of Teranga. All four goals were scored on the second half. With this match result, Senegal are the first team to book the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations final spot.
