Andile Mbenyane opened the scoring for the visitors on the first half. Bradley Grobler equalized for the hosts. Matsatsantsa took the lead for the first time in this match through Thamsanqa Gabuza. Maloisane Mokhele levelled matters for the Chilli Boyz and it was his first goal for the club. Three goals were scored on the second half. With this match result, Dan Malesela registered his first DStv Premiership point this season as the head coach of Chippa United.
